she sighed heavily after laying him down and jumped back into the tree she was sleeping in to scout around for any demons that might decide that a wounded hanyou is a good meal.

later that day she decided to get some lunch.jumping off and running into the forest she killed about two rabbits and caught three fish.as she was gathering some firewood she smelled a demon not far from the campsite.holding the firewood she had she ran back to find a moderatly sized insect demon about to devour royal.she drew her katana dissapearing in a cloud of smoke then reappearing behind the demon slicing it's head off.after disposing of the corpse she started a fire and cooked the rabbits and fish thoroughly and shook royal lightly to wake him up.

He woke up from the noise to find an insect demon's corpse. "What happend?"

she started putting the rabbits and fish on a plate replying "i went hunting to get some food for lunch,smelled a demon here,killed it,and cooked what i got.speakin of which are you hungry or something?"she said getting her own meal eating it in record time.she stood up and jumped back into the tree laying against it.

kia looked at lone before jumping down and glomping him off his feet ."uncle lone uncle lone!!i never thought i'd see ya again!!"she shouted before getting up and sitting down cross-legged by royal."oh and this guy i found bloodied up by a fort."she said gesturing towards royal.

"sure I'm hungry Fighting uses a lot of energy ya know" He sat up to eat and he began eating and then he noticed Lone he stopped for a second to speak "Hey Lone Wolf how are you today?"

After he said hello and how are you to lone he continued eating. He wondered if he should ask if they knew a man dressed in baboon skin clothing.

He cleaned the plate of food and he noticed that the girl that usually follows Lone Wolf is not arround. "Lone Wolf Where is your friend?" He asked Lone.

kia still sitting and boredly daydreaming she asked "so...what happend?i mean when you were at the temple you were backed up against a wall."she asked eyeing him."what did the big okami taisho V have a bad dream?"she asked in a fake baby voice.

He blushed a bit "please don't do that. And actually I don't know it was a strange dream I dreamt of my past. Back at the temple I saw a man dressed in Baboon Skin pelts with a baboon mask he was in my dreams. But I do believe I was ill when that happend it could all just be a strange coincidence."

She walked out from behind a bush and just stood there in shock looking at kia"K-k...k...k"she couldn't manage to say kia's name.She stumbled back nearly falling the memorys flooding her head."no..no..NO!"She fell to her knees on the ground. She wimpered and held her head as the memorys came back painfully.

she smelt another wolf demon nearby she spoke."hold on."drawing her katana and slicing the bush in half she looked at iswj in suprise. "mother...?"remembering what she did she fell to her knees dropping the poision katana and hugging iswj for all her worth."mom i'm sorry...i'm so sorry."she wispered one tear escaping her eye. |
