Sesshoumaru could smell the sent of Naraku off of Bankotsu. Sesshoumaru had heard about Bankotsu and his killing sprees.Sesshoumaru didn't know that Bankotsu was revived. Sesshoumaru thought that he could follow Bankotsu all the way to Naraku.

Bankotsu looked at Iswj and tried to make up a story. Bankotsu knew that he was completely out numbered and had to wait to kill them.
"Naraku... Yes, Naraku had control of me." he said lieing
Naraku didn't have the slightest control over him. Bankotsu sounded pretty convincing.

knowing bankotsu was lying because he once told her that naraku couldn't control him she said"hey ban-chan,didn't you say once that naraku couldn't control you?".

Sesshoumaru went sprinting by, pushing Iswj out of the way. Sesshoumaru sprinted all the way to Bankotsu. Sesshoumaru grabbed Bankotsu by the neck, lifting him off the ground. Sesshoumaru was slightly choking him, but not enough to kill him.
"You know where Naraku is. Now tell me!" Sesshoumaru yelled

Sesshoumaru heard Kia say that Naraku doesn't have control of him. Sesshoumaru threw Bankotsu aside and onto the ground with thrust. Sesshoumaru walked back over to Jaken.
"Jaken, lets move!" he said
Sesshoumaru, Jaken, and Rin started to walk off down the mountain.
