Kisakata snarled. His eyes shone like a predetors.

Kuro sighed and stood up.
''C'mon, the annoying thing just wants to protect her young.''
She muttered, starting to walk off, pausing a moment to make sure he followed.

He growled and ignored her. His eyes shone with danger.
"I am the guardian of this forest. You dare enter my domain?!"
She whimpered and bowed. The babies schreeched in fear.

Kuro sighed and grabbed him roughly, turning him to face her.
''Leave her be.''
She said in an icy calm tone, glaring at him.
''She has every right ot be here as we do, whether you are the guardian or not. She has done nothing to harm this forest.''

His eyes burned with an icy fire. He twisted her hand.
"She did not have my permission."
He calmed down a little.
The Monkey sighed.
"We are looking for a home. Many demons killed my clan, please milord."
Serath sighed and nodded.

Kuro groweld and pulled her hand away. She glared at him, though it was an emotionless glare and stood up, turning and walking thrugh the forest.

He though about it and smiled. He nodded.
"As long as no harm comes to this forest"
He turned and ran after Kuro.

Kuro growled a bit and slammed her fist into a rock, shattering it and splitting her knuckles in the process. Dammit....why the hell did he remind me of that demon lord? She thought angrily, remembering a time when he mother had been banished from the western lands by an inu youkai and thus had to live in secret. GRowling still she rubbed her bloodied knuckles, watching as the wounds began to slowly (for her standards) heal.

Kuro sighed a bit. She looked over at him, her eyes pained.
''I should be apologizing. The incident just now merely reminded me of it too much.''
She sat down, wiping the blood off her healed knuckles.
''I guess it kinda scared me. I remember his eyes...cold and unforgiving....unforgiving of me and my siblings...because of what we are.....what I am and what they were, I mean.''
Her ears drooped a bit at this point and she stared at the ground at her feet.
