It was night time Officer Juntaro Fujikawa had the night shift to patrol the Higurashi Shrine after they got reports of vandalism and Graffiti on the Shrine's grounds. He yawned as he walked around with his German Shepard Toshiro "Toshiro this is an easy shift don't gotta do much for this shift but patrol this shrine and we get fed and stuff by the nice caretakers of the shrine but it does get kinda boring I haven't seen a vandal around and I haven't seen anyone attempting Graffiti." he said as his dog just looked up at him.

Kagome had climbed out of the well and saw the officer. "Umm...not to be rude but what are you doing at my house! Mom!" Kagome ran over to her house.

The Officer turned to answer Kagome but Kagome ran off before he could do so and he noticed she climbed out of the well. He took out his flashlight and he walked over to the well and he shined the light into the well as he looked down.

Then not seeing anything he turned off his flash light and he put it away and he continued his patrol. He then tied his Toshiro's leesh to a post and he gave his dog a treat then he went and got his bento and he sat on a bench to take a dinner break. He made sure no one could see him so he could eat since Japanese Police Officers are not allowed to eat while in Uniform unless they are hidden.

Kagome listened to her mom as she listened . "But how am I supposed to get to the Feudal era if he is there watching." Kagome complained. "I'll distract him honey go get what you need." Kagome nodded. Kagome got her supplies as she ran towards the well again. Mrs. Higurashi brought out another tray of food. "Here I brought you some more food." Mrs. Higurashi said keeping Kagome from veiw as she went into the shrine.

Officer Fujikawa looked up at Mrs. Higurashi "Thank you ma'am" he said as he took the food and began eating. Then Toshiro began barking at the well as Kagome ran to the well "What is it Toshiro?" he said standing up and he reached for his flashlight and he shined the light at the hut where the well was "Who's there!?" he shouted "Freeze! in the name of the Law!"

Kagome ran as she lowered her backpack and began to lwer herself into the well. Mrs. Higurashi gulped a little. "Oh my I'm sure it was only a squirel or something like that." She said nervously. Kagome reached for her backpack and was about to jump into the well.

Kagome heard the barking and jumped down into the well and was surrounded by the familiar light as she disappeared.

Officer Fujikawa put the food down and ran over to the well reaching for his revolver as he reached the hut with the well he ran into the hut and found the well and he stopped and looked around "I thought I saw someone enter this hut" he said as he looked around but no one was there then he looked down into the well as he shined his light down there "Am I seeing things or was someone really here? if so where did they go?" he asked himself.

Mrs. Higurashi sighed in releif quietly. "Maybe it was the light playing tricks on your eyes. Well I'm going back inside tell me if you need anything." She smiled and went back into the house. "Good thing Kagome's fast."

He holstered his revolver and he put his flashlight away then he went back over to his food and began eating. As he ate Toshiro whimpered and looked up at his master. Officer Fujikawa sighed and gave Toshiro some of his food.

Mrs. Higurashi walked to the Shrine house and saw Kagome had left her first aid kit. "Oh dear...I'll give it to her when she get back. Mrs. Higurashi carefully hid it and walked back to the house.

After finishing the food he then got up and continued Patrolling the shrine he left Toshiro where he was at because he wanted to take a closer look at the hut with the well.

Mrs. Higurashi was getting worried. "Oh dear this could get hard to do. Kagome said she would be back later tonight." Kagome had jumped out of the well and realized she forgot something and jumped back down to get it. Kagome hopped out of the well and saw the guard still there. "Oh great." Kagome got out of the shrine and ran full speed for the house and made to the door.

He looked at Kagome with surprise "Freeze! in the name of the law!" he shouted as he then shined his flash light at Kagome and he held his night stick ready to club the person.
