Menomaru sat in his old hideout that now was nothing but a broken tree in the forest of no return, he was plotting his revenge on the hanyou named InuYasha and the human called Kagome, because of them, he had the power he desired, but was unable to reach his ultimate form so he could use them to their full extent, the moth youkai was pissed indeed, he sighed, leaning back against the old tree, glad that he could move around normally again, being unable to move had been an annoying experience for the ancient moth youkai.
Menomaru's gaze fell onto his moths as they flew around randomly, having nothing better to do, he had sendt two of them off earlier to try to track down InuYasha, his moths hadn't returned yet, though he was not too worried about it.

Just then Captain Gomon the army Officer that betrayed Royal, Tortured Inuyasha, and Served Naraku approached the Hide out of Menomaru.

Menomaru's antenna twitched and he raised his head, he sensed that someone was near, he sendt out his moths to find out who it was and if the person was an enemy or just someone that was passing through.

Captain Gomon saw the Moths "How strange... a Flock of Moths... reminds me of Naraku's Samiyousho..." Captain Gomon said and continued onward the 40 soldiers that he had were back down the trail resting and eating and then they would later catch up with their captain.

Menomaru decided to check this for himself and moved quickly through the trees, avoiding to be detected by anyone, he spotted the Captain and then appeared, sitting on a branch in a tree that was right in front of the Captain. "May I ask why you have wandered into my Forest Of No Return?"

Captain Gomon looked at Menomaru with little care "Oops I'm sorry is this your forest? I didn't see a sign that said this was your forest" the Captain said with Sarcasm.

Menomaru unsheathed his sword and jumped down, attacking the Captain so quickly that there barely was time to react.

The Captain stumbled back missing the sword by an inch ["That was close!"] he thought to himself as he then pulled out his Imperial Army Service Revolver that was styled after the Webley and Scott MkIV and he shot at Menomaru.

Menomaru dodged easily and arched an eyebrow.
"Did you really think that would even hit me at all?"

Captain Gomon looked in shock at Menomaru Then he fired his revolver several times again at Menomaru.

Menomaru dodged most of the bullets, but was hit by a few that went straight through his body, though he didn't seem affected by it as the wounds healed at extreme speed, Menomaru arched an eyebrow yet again.
"Was that supposed to hurt me?"

The Captain tried firing again but the revolver clicked signaling it was out of ammo he holstered it and pulled out his Sabre. "You remind me of Lord Naraku a bit" the Captain said.

"Hmph. Are you going to cease this useless attack upon me soon? I have a revenge I need to plot out. . ." Menomaru said, a slight hint of boredom in his voice.
