A large black panther set foot upon the western lands, a large bear skin sack dangling from her jaws. She looked around and shuddered. This is where it happened.... The panther hanyou thought with a shudder. She trotted along, padding through the snow. White snow dotted her dark coat as she moved on. It did not take her long to find a good place to camp.
Within minutes a fire was burning brightly and meat was cooking. The panther hanyou, now in her natural form, sat cross-legged on a large deer skin blanket, watching the cooking meat. The hanyou shuddered. She closed her eyes, trying to forget the memories for a moment, just a moment.
''It's impossible...I can't forget those horrid memories.''
The hanyou growled aloud and began to slowly eat the cooked meat. Why did the slayers kill my family anyway? We never hurt anyone or anything but a few wild animals... She sighed, putting the half eaten meat down. It was your fault. We were still alive, but you just abandoned us... Kurohyou sighed again, hearing Dai's voice ring through her head.
The girl growled a bit as she took another bite. The scent of another reached her and she stood, claws flexed. She then heard the bushes rustling and growled fiercely, ready to face the newcomer.

It was silent,but right when it got quiet Calintz jumped from the bushes and landed behind Kuro,with his hand on his sword's handle."Who are you?"He asked demanding.

Kuro didn't turn to face him, not yet at least. Her left ear swiveled towards him though, as she waited for some sign of movement, ready to move quickly in case he tried anything.

Calintz tightened the grip on his sword and slightly pulled it out,his hair blowing slightly behind him,his eyes fixed on Kuro's every move."Damn mangy cat tell me your name or else.."

Kuro snapped back, still not turning to face him.
''I am NOT a cat, or a kitty, I am a panther.''
She growled and folded her arms.
''Do you have a reason for disturbing my nice dinner?''
She glanced over her shoulder at him, emerald eyes glaring at him.

Calintz let go of his swords handle and laughed."I knew all panthers get upset about being called cats.."He folded his arms tightly."I'm Calintz,leader of the western wolf tribe,now will you tell me your name..?"

Kuro turned and faced him, arms crossed over her chest still.
''It's Kuro. Happy now, ookami?''
She arched a brow. I remember the wolf pack. Mother always warned us about them. She growled lightly and sat back down in her previous spot.

Calintz had a a distrought look on his face."Little ill tempered aren't we..?"He said cocking up an eyebrow."If i wanted to i could have sliced you in half already panther."

Kuro rolled her eyes and grabbed the rest of her food, glaring at the fire. She took a bite and chewed slowly.

Calintz shrugged."So what..other things are happening and all you care about is your food.You can't trust a lot of people now,never know what side they are on."

She glared at him and took another bite. This damn place has got me in one of the worst moods possible. Ugh, Akki help me.

''What is your problem, ookami?! You are the one who disturbed me. You are the one who threatened me for no reason. I was minding my own business but you just happened to waltz in and disturb me.''
Her hands were balled into fists, her knnuckles paler than her already white skin. Her tail flickered behind her and thickened while her ears were pinned back against her skull.

Calintz stared at her for a long while."I don't give respet without recieving it first."He walked far from her and sat down on a rock and fixed hisself on it."I apologize for the interuption."He said as he yawned and layed his head back.

Kuro said with a grunt, though this was just her way of accepting the apology. She finished off her food and let out a heavy sigh, running her claw through her hair.
