Nana was walking though the Northern lands and came upon a hot spring. The sun had already started to fall.
"I could use a soak.." she said to her self. Then looked around to see if anyone was approaching. Her green eyes didn't see anyone. Her nose was only picking up every day animals. Her ears the pitter pater of birds and other small animals running about.
You couldn't see into the hot spring if you were level to it. It was because of the fog and there were large rocks surrounding it. The only bad thing was the hill to the left of it.
Nana slipped off her clothing and rapped a towel around her self and stepped into the spring. "ahhhh, thats feels better she said aloud.

Walking along the hot springs was the Death God Byakuya, the man, whom appeared so young, made no sound as he moved, not even the soft sound of footsteps could be heard. Even when he was alone, like now, he held an air of dignity around him, his head raised and his eyes staring calmly off into the distance. The shinigami's ears caught the sound of someone moving into the water of the hot springs and could see a silhouette of a female though the fog, though, it was none of his business.

((nope ^^ ))
Nana shut her her eyes as she soaked in the hot spring. She took a deep breath. As she let out a sent off something or someone blew across her nose. She opened her eyes almost instantly. She looked around, but the Fog was thick enough to blur anything around her. She was unable to see whom or what was there.
Looked around for a moment before ducking her head under water wetting her hair. When she emerged from the water there was a gap in the fog giving her just enough space to look out of.
She saw a young male.

Byakuya spotted a female through the fog, no longer just the silhouette. It wasn't that the death god cared, but he decided to speak to her. "It is rare to see a female here on her own. I saw some bandits headed this way, so you should be carefull." he stated, having stopped up now. It was pretty rude to walk away when talking. Then again, for earth beings, seeing a naked woman in a hot spring was 'perverted.'
It wasn't that the death god cared if the woman got attacked by bandits or not, he just didn't feel like being the one who had to send her off to the next life if that happened at the moment.

Nana grinned, 'does he think I'm mortal?' she thought as she rapped her towel around her titer.
"Why thank you, but mortals are no trouble to me." she stepped out of the hot spring and head toward her clothes. She looked back for a moment before disappearing behind a rock. When she reappeared Nana was fully dressed. Her soaked hair fell behind her head dripping every so often.
"So mister, whom might you be?" She spoke as she took a few steps away form the fog.

"Maybe not, but mortals are enough to annoy one aren't they? And if they come and you kill them, cleaning up the mess wouldn't be very funny for me." Byakuya said calmly as he stared at the woman calmly. He knew that most people were creeped out by his calm icy stare though, but that was something he did not care about at the moment.
"I am Byakuya. God of death. And you are?"

"Yes i do hate the messy my other self leaves behind, but when i kill its quick, but painful." She brushed a hand through her hair.
"God of Death interesting....I am Nana Leader of the Eastern main lands."

Byakuya closed his eyes for a moment, before opening them. "Quick, but painfull, you say?" he asked, sighing softly. "Well, I couldn't care less about how they die. But, hearing their whining about 'please revive me' when they're ghosts is somewhat annoying." he said, staring off into the distance again.
"Even I as a god can get annoyed with mortality's endless wish to live forever."

(( i like your avi lol ))
Nana bowed her head. "I'm feeling generous to today.I'll kill them quick and painlessly just for you."
She grinned, "I can smell then getting near." she closed her green eyes and sighed. "But they do get on my nerves so..." Then opening her eyes she gave Byakuya a soft smile.

"Do as you like. Kill them slowly and painfully if you like. I shouldn't consern myself with the living at all, but I broke ties with the other gods of heaven. I will wait here till you kill them, and send their spirits off. It is a duty of mine after all." Byakuya said, calmly as ever. It was true though, even though he was the god of death, he didn't really have any mercy upon the spirits. The only ones he was nicer with was the children that had been killed.

Nana blinked. "I'm not too up to killing anyone today." she sighed and picked up her bag.
"You know what else? You need to lighten up some." Nana was starting to get annoyed by his calmness, he was too calm if you get my drift. "live a little. Just because your the God of death doesn't mean you have to act like your dead also." Her green eyes darted to her left. there getting closer... she thought.

Byakuya's face lightened up a little, but that aura of calmness stayed around him, emotions weren't really his style. "I'm sorry if it bothers you. I have been raised this way. Could you allow me to travel with you to the next village on the way? Even I as a death god need some company every now and then." he said. Most males wouldn't have asked straight out like that, but then again, Byakuya was no ordinary male.

((I hope you do not mind if I join))
The sound of cartwheels rumbling down the rutted road could be clearly heard through the foggy air. It seemed to have a ghostly echo as one of the horses whinied and tried to move off track.
"Go a strap line you git," crowed a bald man and crashed his whip down the horse's back making the horse scream in pain.
"Leave him alone Ryu. The horse is scared and all your abuse is scarin the other one as well," slurred one of the men.
"Ah put a sock in it Gin," said a red head who threw an empty sake bottle at his head.
"Why don't you all shut up and let's stop somewhere so we can count our loot," growled the leader of the ragtag group of bandits.
"Aye, aye my captain," sang keiji before hiccuping. He elbowed Ryu in the side with his elbow before pointing to the hot springs. "All this fog ain't no considence. It means there is a spring close by and all you fellas need a bath," he guffawed.

Nan sorta looked at him. well isn't he just an odd ball?'
"Yeah i don't mind Not like i have anyone to travel with" she said laughing. She wasn't so uptight around him for some reason. The was just something about him that was different. Hello duh the strange calmness.

Again, Byakuya tried to soften his facial expression a bit, managing a smile now. He looked off into the distance, sounds of the bandits coming closer. "Should we go the other way, away from the bandits or towards them and hope that they'll ignore us?" he asked, looking at Nana questioningly.
