Physical: Kimiko’s nationality is half German/American on her mothers side and half Japanese/American on her fathers side. Because of the mainly American traits in her, she has light blonde hair, turquoise/aqua blue eyes. She is seventeen years old, weights in at around 118 pounds, and stands at around 5 feet 5 inches. When she isn’t wearing her school uniform (which looks like the same one as Kagome, because she goes to her school), you can usually find Kimiko wearing some pair of blue jeans and a belt of some sort. She usually is seen wearing a black spaghetti strap shirt with some sort of over shirt that can be pink, blue, green, whatever color fits her mood.
As for accessories, Kimiko is always wearing her cross necklace and a matching pair of earrings. She wears a watch on her left wrist and on her right she wears a few bracelets. Her hair is long enough to reach down to her mid back but it’s usually pulled up with some kind of clip or hair tie.
Emotional: Kimiko is a shy and quiet girl. She is very calm and doesn’t seem very motivated in life. She likes to keep to herself and tries to keep herself busy by distracting herself with things such as her artwork, listening to her American rock music, or taking care of her pet dog Rocks. Kimiko is never the one to start up any sort of conversation usually and especially around someone she may take a liking to. She has social anxiety and hates to be put in the spot light, unless she really wants the attention.
Aside from all her faults, she is a very sweet & caring girl. She is very soft spoken and polite to talk to once you get her going in a conversation. Kimiko is a very dependable friend who will try and do anything for a friend, even if it meant her own happiness. In school, she is what you would consider a “loaner” but she doesn’t seem to mind it too much.
Background: Kimiko was born in Tokyo, Japan. How she came to be was her mother, Linda, was visiting the country met and fell in love with Kimiko’s father, Darren. The two were married within a year and lived in Tokyo for 2 years and then moved to the United States when Kimiko was 3 years old. Darren and Linda divorced a year later that year and Linda got custody of Kimiko. Linda met Don that following year and got pregnant with Kimiko’s younger brother, Yukio.
Kimiko’s father moved back to Japan when she was 6 years old and called him religiously every weekend over the next 9 years. Over those 9 years Kimiko stared taking private Japanese lessons at the age of 13 and attended an art school for gifted artists. When Kimiko was 16 she got into an accident on day while hiking with her mother. Her younger brother tripped her and so she rolled down the hill side and fell down a fifteen foot high cliff. She obviously hit her head and was in a coma for a full week. Once she awoke from her coma she soon discovered that she could move things with out touching them. Not wanting the attention she kept this newly found power a secret from everyone and only uses her power when no one is around.
Over that next year her and her mother’s relationship fell apart as Kimiko could no longer stand the kind of person her mother was. When Kimiko turned 17, she got so fed up with her mother that she decided to move in with her more than willing father. Her step-father Don had divorced her mother a year before and Linda wasn’t happy with the idea, but Kimiko went anyway. She packed her things, including her dog, Rocks, and talked her grandparents into giving her some spending money. With that money she combined it with her own saving and bought a plane ticket to Tokyo, Japan. Once in Tokyo, her father helped move her and Rocks into his house. She spent a few days showing her where things were and recently enrolled her into the same high school Kagome goes to.
Sample RP: Kimiko sat on the back of her fathers couch, looking out the window to watch the rain fall. She sighed and looked over into the kitchen and watched as her father made a fool of himself trying to make a nice breakfast. She giggled and jumped off the back of the couch to help her poor father.
“Getting to old and forgot how to cook for others Daddy?” She said sarcastically to her father as she entered the Kitchen.
Before he father could speak, she turned down the heat to the stove and proceeded to finish cooking breakfast for her father. She set the table for the both of them and enjoyed a nice breakfast with her father before he went to work. Kimiko had yet to start school so she laid down on the couch, letting one arm reach out to pet her dog Rocks, who was wanting some love and attention. Rolling over on the couch she quickly fell fast asleep.
