The Slayer's village was adopted by General OkamiTaisho V as his Second Strongest Fortified position because it was large and it was basically like a fort all His Soldiers had to do was modify a few things make the walls thicker and dig a few trenches and put some sand bags and fix the place up and it was now a Fortress or His Second Castle. Since The Castle he lived in before this was destroyed by Kikyo,Diaco, and Yumi this would become his new HQ. Most of his Samurai however were killed in the battle at his First HQ Toranaga Castle. The Majority of his Army now is his Meiji Era Style troops untill he could get More Okami Youkai Samurai. Asagi was heavily Guarded for since she never responded to any of Royal's questions back then There was many suspicion about Asagi but because she was also Young and Hanyou and her parents were not around he had thought that he should take care of her for now untill her parents could be found for it was dangerous for young Hanyou girls to walk around in this era especially when most Youkai dispise Hanyous.

Asagi was aware of all that had happened, and was afraid, she sat still where she had been put, curled into a ball, not moving or talking and barely breathing, even her skin had gotten a pale hue from her obvious fear, tears threatened to fall, and she wanted to move her hand up to rub her eyes, but didn't. She remembered what her mother told her, that when one was afraid, making some noice oftened helped, so she started singing her favorite song silently to herself.
"Father once told me, the youkai are the hand that protects.

The Soldier that stood guard at Asagi's door heard singing in her room and he turned his head around looking into the room to see what was going on. The entire Fort was put on full alert and put on defensive position but not all soldiers were on the guard but if the Sentries returned having spotted enemies then the Sergeant of the Battalion would sound Stand to! and the Buglar will sound Stand to also and everyone will go to their posts. For now the soldiers were basically just sitting talking story playing cards some were Marching some were on guard duty, some were put to work to build the fort's defenses. The Slayer's village aka Tanjiya village is no an Occupied Fortress and is no longer abandoned.

Sango had wandered back to fix her weapon when she saw her village. "Get out of my village! I won't let you use this as your fort! my family lived here and I won't let you disgrace their graves! Now get out!" Sango was mad as she ran into the village and let out an angered cry.

The Soldiers immediatly grabbed their weapons which were at stack arms and they looked at Sango with the who do you think you are look "This is a state of war the Ruler of these lands has declared this his property you however may do what ever it is you came here to do since you're the original owner of this property but we will not leave here And their graves are well taken care of... We honor the dead too." Said the Commanding Officer of the 2 Battalions that was occupying the Slayers village as a fort.

Sango glared at him. "This is not a fort this is the remains of my village. I don't want you ruining it anymore than it already is. (I can't let them find Midoriko's cave...)" Sango ran pat them as she hurried towards the cave as she passed through the barrier. (They won't be able to get through...good..) Sango walked into the cave farther as she bowed to Midoriko and picked up her supplies.

The Soldiers looked in Awe as she ran past them and went through the barrier that none of them could get through when they tried earlier.

The Commander of the 2 battalions occupying the village followed Sango "Miss you should at least be thankful we fixed this place up with no charge and we kept the graves good and clean and always placed an offering on them. We've made it looking like it's brand new like it just been built"

The Commander walked back outside and the rest of the troops went back to doing what they were doing.

Sango fixed her Hiraikotsue as she slung it on her back. She then went to her families graves as she bent downed and prayed for their spirits.

Matsuhiro, Royal's weapons maker, walked up to Sango "That's a fine weapon you have there..." he said admiring Sango's weapon.
