A little girl of only six huddles as best as she can under a tree. She lets out weak mewing noises not caring to get wet up. Her lavender tail and ears drooping at the sound of the rain pattering down onto the ground despite her desperate need to stay dry.
"They don't miss me... they don't need me at all," Akio said with a heavy sigh. Her little arms wrapped around her body as crouched down on the hard ground.
"Mommy and daddy don't miss me at all... they already found their replacement," she cried out burying her face against her arms. Her little shoulders shake with her sobs when she hears the crash of lightning.
She falls over her blue-gray eyes filled with horror. She hated this... this loneliness and there was nothing she could do about it.

Nana walked down a path, the rain bouncing off her umbrella. Humming to her self she heard a 'meow' coming from under a tree.
"Wah?" she said quietly. She walked over to the young female curled up and soaked from head to toe. "
"Hello little one.." she said kindly. "What are you doing out in the rain all alone. You should be with your family." She said leaning down in front of the small demon girl.

Akio looked at the stranger in suprise scooting involuntarily back. Then she looked warily away. Her eyes filling with tears despite herself.
"I d... I don't have a mommy or daddy," she couldn't help but sob. Even though she began to cry it seemed hard to distinguish it from the rain pouring down her little face as she finally looks at the stranger helplessly.
"A... Aren't you going to run away as w... well?" she hiccuped. She knew alot of villagers either ran or scared her off if they saw her anywhere near their villages.

She gave the demon girl a soft smile. "Why would i run away? Come here lets get you dryed off" she reached a hand out to the girl. "What is your name?"

Akio hesitated for a moment before nodding her head weakly and took the strangers hand. "M... M... My name is Akio but I don't want that name anymore," she shook her head furiously no as she stood up.
"M... mommy says Akio means 'Loved One.' B... but she never loved me," she said bitterly then looked at the ground.

Nana put the umbrella over Akio ," I think it suits you well. I'm Nana by the way." she smiled at Akio. The rain hit Nana's hair and ran down her skin. Her paleness seemed to get lighter as the rain covered her body.
"Come on lets go some place were its dry."

"B... but aren't you wet?" Akio looked at Nana with those big blue-gray eyes of hers, her bottom lip trembling. But she willingly takes a step closer to Nana and her warmth, her own wet body cold and trembly.

((G2G be on tomorrow after school))
"I'll be find just take my umbrella." she handed the umbrella to Akio. "You look like your gonna get sick. Come here" she said bringing Akio close. Nana was acting like a mother. She felt sorry for the young demon.
'why am I acting so nice whats up with me today?' she thought then looked up at the sky. A faint out line of an almost full moon was able to be seen. Oh I get it know its her she thought referring to her Celestial side.

Little fingers curl around the umbrella's handle as she tilts her head back to look at the lady. "Here I share with you," Akio ventured out and stood on her tiptoes as if to extend it over both their heads.
But being as she barely came up to Nana's knees she could only raise it up but so far. "I sorry I got you all wet," she mumbled bitterly and looked away though she didn't move from Nana's warmth.
She was nearly tempted to wrap her arms around the tall lady's neck but it was her uncertainty that held her back.

Nana looked at the small girl."Its alright the rain doesn't bother me." she smiled as Akio tried to put the umbrella over her head.
"Its alight come here." she said picking Akio up and balancing her on her hips."Is that better?" The rain bounced of Nana's umbrella making a 'tap' sound.
"So how old are you Akio?" Nana finally used her name. On the inside Nana was going berserk. God Damn! She going to kill my rep!' The real Nana was someplace in between this nice person and angry all the time. She was starting to get a head ace from auguring with her self, but she didn't show it. Nana didn't want to disrupt the girl.

Akio finds herself blushing and lowers her head trying to keep it under control. "I... uh..." she begins flustered then decides to peak up at Nana and smile weakly.
The cat ears on the top of her head twitches catching Nana's next word and she purses her lips in concentration.
"I dis many," she finally said and held up four fingers. She then looked at her fingers for a while then frowned. "No, no me ish dis many," she corrected and put up six fingers, the right amount.

Akio's ears caught Nana's eyes. Then she looked away as Akio she moved about in her arms.
Nana smiled softly at Akio as she was figuring out how old she was. "Well you could say I'm a little older than that." Nana moved a piece of hair that had fallin out of place with her finger.
"I know this place just up the way were we can stay....would you like to come with me? I would love the company."

Akio's cat ears perked up and she looks at Nana in suprise. "Y... You really want me to... to come?" Akio gasped.
A grateful smile spread across her lips lighting her face for a moment before she frowned thoughtfully. "But why me? Want I hold you back?" she tried to rack her little head to see why this was too good to be true.
Already the lavender locks on her head was drying a bit so that they no longer clung to her head.

"No you won't hold me back I'm just wondering around looking for something to do." Nana said poking Akio nose lightly. "Well do you? you didn't answer me." she said even though she had started to walk up th path slowly.

"Mmm let me think about it," she says and cocks her head to the side as if thinking about it. A bit of her humor creeping up despite herself as she tapped her finger against her chin then with a thoughtful look she nodded her head.
"Me has no previous plans so okay," she nodded her head eagerly her lavender cat tail wagging languidly back and forth.
