She let out a whimper and struggled to get out of Nana's arms. The smell of wolves overpowering her senses and letting her feline extincts kick in.

Blue-gray eyes fly open and she lets out an involuntary hiss, her cat tail bristling as her ears lay flat against her head.

[Nana]

"Shut up!" Nana snapped at Akio.Her voice was cold not like it sounded before.
She then blinked ,"Sorry.... but you need to be quiet." she held a finger to Akio's lips and shh'ed her. Her voice had changed back, but still had the cold feel in the air.

"If your quiet they may go away." She thought for a moment before speaking.

"Stay here." Nana said sliding Akio off her lap and moving to the door.

Akio froze and looked at her with wide frighten eyes as if she had been struck. She seemed to shrink away from Nana and as soon as Nana let her go to check on things she let out her breath.

Her small heart thumping wildly in her chest she crept noiselessly to the bed and lay under the covers. Biting her bottom lip to stop herself from crying.

(She's going to beat me... isn't she?)

She curled up in a ball in a fetal position waiting for the world to just go away. Her little fingers tracing over the scars that she had been given from human and demon alike.

(I can only depend on myself)

She lets out a inward sigh before turning into a lavender housecat ready to steal away into the night as if she had never existed.

[Nana]

Nana looked back as Akio changed into a cat. She frowned and looked back at the door once before walking over to her bed.

She sighed and sat down next to what appeared to be a house cat. "I'm sorry for snapping at you." she said rubbing the back of her head slightly. "It's just..." her voice trailed off. "I don't know how to explain, but I'm a half demon and when i snapped it was that side of me speaking. Not me."

She hoped Akio could understand. "I'm sorry."

Just then 5 soldiers commanded by a Staff Sergeant entered Nana's home armed with their rifles and bayonets attached as they began searching her home for A rebel wolf demon that is said to have hidden here.

[Nana]

Nana looked up holding back growls. "Get out of my home!" she said standing up.

"Don't make me force you." her voice was cold once more like when she yelled at Akio. But this time she was yelling at intruders.

The Staff Sergeant just looked at her then back at his men who were turning the place upside down in the search. Outside Nana's home was Nana's neighbor who for some reason disliked Nana and had told the Imperial soldiers that Nana was hiding a Southern Wolf Demon Rebel. Even though the Eastern Lands wasn't ruled by the Northern empire The Eastern Lands Daimyo was a bit to cowardly to interfere with the Northern Imperial Military force. [ooc: and I mean Kiniki as the Daimyo of the East.]

[Nana]

Nana glared at them and yelled, "GET OUT NOW!"

Her green eyes were showing no kindness too them. Nana then waved her arm, sending one of the intruding men flying out the door.

"Who's next?" she said. Here voice sounded as if she was enjoting her self. She walked over to the Sergeant.

"You?"

By now the soldiers were aiming their rifles at Nana and the soldier that had been thrown out came back in the Staff Sergeant gave Nana a Cold and Scary looking glare as he then spoke "You should shut up... Your Ruler is allowing this and unless she speaks out against this we have permition to carry this out..." The Sergeant saif calmly but there was a hint of Coldness and no fear. [ooc: wow Nana is sure Rebellious...]

[Nana]

((lol yeah.....lets say you caught her at a bad time. The night before her transformation.))

Nana gave him a cold laugh, "My ruler? Well isn't that funny?" Her gaze then fell upon the the solders. She looked back at the Sergeant. "I am Nana, Leader of the nine tailed foxes and I rule most eastern main land. I doubt your weapons could kill me."

Akio quickly darts out from the bed and Nana's warmth, her mind going crazy with the overpowering smell of canines and this cold voice stranger that was supposed to be Nana.

Her powers still new and wild to her since she was only little she managed to freeze two soldiers to the spot that tried to shoot at her. Her eyes glowing blue before she dart into the night glad that the rain stopped.

[Nana]

Nana snapped out of her cold state of mind as Akio ran past her. " Akio!" she said her voice sounded like before she was in a trance like state.

Her eyes looked worried for the little girl. "Move." she said pushing the Sergeant out of her way and waked after Akio quickly.

Akio looks back at Nana with frighten eyes and without further thought darts up into a tree. Her little body not stopping to move until she was in the furthermost branch. She suddenly transforms back into a little child and lets out a squeak as she looks at how high up she climbed in the fir tree.

Her arms wrap so tightly around the fir's trunk that the rough bark presses hard against her skin.

[Nana]

Nana caught up with her. 'Oh no, what did i do. she thought. I scared her....

"Akio! Are you OK do you need any help?" Nana sounded like her kind self, but she was afraid that Akio wouldn't except her again.

"I'm sorry if i scared you....."

She clamps her eyes close unsure if she trust Nana again. Her body trembling like a leave in the wind.

"W... which Nana is real Nana," Akio gasps, her cat ears flat against her head.
