The soldiers and Samurai that had remained Loyal to Emperor OkamiTaisho V was holding their Positions still yet using their own Artillery to rain down upon the Campsite of General Toka's army but things began to change when General Toka's Artillery corps arrived and set up because now they started to bombard the Hanyou side. This war will be one of Siege for the forces of the Emperor would maintain a strong defense and stratigical Advantage but the Enemy artillery began devestating their numbers when they began to get more accurate and then the Imperial Troops began Marching up the Road that led in through the mountains and into the valley. The Smoke from the Enemy Artillery had made it hard for the Defenders to see the Oncoming Ambush There was the sound of Feet hitting the ground and all the Hanyou soldiers and Samurai took aim with their Rifles and Muskets. Then When the sound got closer they Opened fire at the unseen enemy in the hopes of hitting them but as the smoke began to clear the Enemy was now Charging at full speed and the Hanyou soldiers and Samurai began frantically trying to load their weapons then they raised their rifles and muskets to their shoulders and aimed and fired at the charging enemy dropping a lot of them but they made it to the lines and the fight became Hand to hand and Close Quarters Combat. The Samurai then pulled out their Katana's and began fighting and the Officers pulled out their Sabres and held their Sabres in one hand with their Revolver in the other. The Hanyou soldiers used their Rifles and Bayonets to fight. The Battle wasn't looking so good for the Defenders since more and more soldiers of General Toka began charging into the battle overrunning the Hanyou soldiers and Samurai even with the New Type99 Light Machine guns they couldn't stop the Overwhelming Force. The Hanyou Soldiers and Samurai began retreating from the Defense line and back to the Huge Gate Wooden Gate that was like that of a Castle's Gate. It stood as a Strong Defense with a Wall that blocked the Passage into the Valley from there the Soldiers could hold a better defense. They retreated into the Gates and the Gates were closed leaving the Charging Enemy trapped as Hanyou soldiers and Samurai got up onto the walls, gates, and Cliff sides surrounding the Passage and they began to fire down upon their Trapped Enemy. The Youkai Army of General Toka was being Slaughtered and forced to retreat. Things were beginning to go bad for General Toka since the Morale of his Army was beginning to fade away because they were Youkai and their Opponents, The Forces of the Emperor, were Hanyou and Youkai, Who are Full demons, are known to be more Powerful then Hanyous who are only Half Demons. The Army of General Toka retreated back to the Former Defense Line of the Hanyous and awaited for the Caissons to bring up the Cannons to blow down the wall and Gate.
